We have just returned from a fantastic holiday to Florida and the Bahamas, (myself and my husband). Our first 3 days were spent at the Drury Plaza Hotel - Disney Springs Area, we stayed there for 4 nights and the package included 3 day Disney tickets, this we booked through Jo Alcock - Wind Waves and Wands Vacations. The hotel was very modern, the room was spacious very clean and comfortable. On arrival the reception staff were very informative, they provided us with a lot of information about the hotel itself, our park tickets and the times of the park buses. They encouraged us to come back and ask any questions if we had any. The hotel provided breakfast and evening snacks, we had breakfast every morning, there was plenty to choose from and you could have as much as you wanted. We didn’t eat there in the evening. The buses to and from the parks ran every hour, they were always on time and the drivers were very friendly and welcoming. Before leaving the UK we had downloaded our park tickets to my phone, the hotel also provided credit card type tickets as well so it was good to have both methods just in case. The tickets on my phone worked perfectly and I used these the whole time we were there. Jo put together this package for us - 4 nights at the Drury Plaza and 3 day Disney tickets. Jo provided information and a quote beforehand to enable us to decide if this package was right for us. Once booked we received all the relevant information and Jo stressed that we could contact her anytime if we had any questions. Leading up to our departure Jo explained many aspects of how we could get the most out of our Disney experience i.e. how to use the park tickets, using the Disney app to book rides and experiences, which rides were LL / virtual queue etc, recommendations for the Disney restaurants and when we could book them in advance etc. She also provided details and options of getting from the airport to our hotel. All of this information was invaluable and really enabled us to make the most of our time in Disney. My favourite rides were Tron, Rise of the Resistance and Guardians of the Galaxy however we enjoyed all aspects of Disney. We would love to return in the future and would definitely book again through Jo - Wind Waves and Wands Vacations. Also many thanks to Jo who shared other Florida knowledge with us, we had a fantastic time and all of her suggestions of places to visit and places to stay were just perfect we enjoyed every moment. Where do I even begin?? I worked closely with Ashley and let me tell you, she was a complete God send. Back story…this was my very first trip ever (and I am 50 years old). My first trip was to Punta Cana. I had an extreme fear of flying and didn’t know what to expect. I voiced my fear to Ashley, and she did everything in her power to ensure the trip ran smoothly from start to finish. She even went as far as to tell the airline about my fear of flying. We travelled with Sunwing. Every single rookie question I had, she responded quickly and wouldn’t stop working until everything was done right and there were no bumps along the way. She kept in touch with us even while we were on vacation to make sure everything was good and we were ok. Personally, I couldn’t make it through my trip without her. My husband and I had the absolute best 25th wedding anniversary vacation ever in beautiful Saint Lucia. We have had such an amazzzzzzing experience working with Sarah while planning as well with all the last minute changes which happened regarding our trip. From the time we got connected with her she was a good listener to our needs as well as guided us in the right direction to plan our vacation...but was never ever pushy to sell or upsell and we are grateful for that🙏 Sarah has always responded promptly to our emails and phone calls and her communication with us extremely clear and helpful...😊 The day of our trip our flight got cancelled due to the snowstorm and she called us in the morning around 5am to chat with us about options and she continued the whole day exploring options to get us onto a flight that day so that our travel plans don't change. She followed up and was able to make changes and we flew out that day on another flight.🎉🎉 Sarah followed our flight to see that it had taken off that day as well as till we reached our destination. Also she followed up with us on how our trip was progressing and updated us about the situation at our airport due to the snow as well as some cancellations and an accident at the airport. A Huge Thank You to Kelly from Wind, Waves & Wands for an Unforgettable Family Vacation! We just returned from our very first family vacation, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience—thanks to Kelly from Wind, Waves & Wands! From start to finish, she made the entire process seamless, ensuring we had everything we needed for an amazing trip to Park Royal Beach Cancun. The resort was fantastic! The beach was beautiful, and the service was top-notch—everyone was so friendly and attentive. We especially loved the kids' pool and water park, which kept the little ones entertained for hours. The food was hot and plentiful, with a great selection to choose from, and the drinks were delicious. Our flights were smooth, and we had zero issues with customs—Kelly had us well-prepared! We did hear mixed advice about the visitor tax, but we decided to pay it, and we’re glad we did because they were checking for receipts. The only downside? The windy weather most days made it a bit tricky to enjoy the ocean as much as we’d hoped, with lots of sand blowing around. But that’s just Mother Nature! Overall, this was the perfect first family vacation, and we owe it all to Kelly. Her expertise, attention to detail, and friendly support made everything stress-free. Our trip advisor was Leanne MacLeod and I cannot express properly how perfect and easy she made the trip to Germany for us. After listening to our wants/desires she came up with a few itineraries to choose from, and the one we chose did not disappoint. Leanne followed up with information on travel insurance, acceptable currencies and even reminded us 24 hours before our flight to do our early flight check-in, something I would’ve forgotten to do if she had not emailed us. The few times I had to email her with some questions or concerns were answered promptly. I even found it rather nice that there was a ‘welcome home’ email from Leanne. Our experience with Wind Waves and Wands has been through Ashley and her service has been nothing short of spectacular! We booked a vacation to Cancun, Mexico for summer 2025 and during the entire process, Ashley was always very patient and thoughtful in explaining what our options were and how the process worked. We always felt informed and knew what to expect for the trip. As a testament to her professionalism, during the recent Air Canada flight attendant strikes, our family's return flight from Cancun was cancelled. While the strike was still ongoing, Ashley went above and beyond to help my family. She took the initiative to call Air Canada on our behalf and successfully secured alternative flights for us to get back home. In the end, we were able to go home just one day later. Mind you, these re-bookings were secured while the strike was still ongoing! Although the strike did eventually end in a few days, most re-bookings made by then were happening for the following week. Ashley's hard work and dedication to her clients saved us from having to spend our remaining vacation days constantly on the phone, and also from paying out of pocket for additional accommodation while we waited for our flight to be rebooked. We have just returned from a fantastic holiday to Florida and the Bahamas, (myself and my husband). Our first 3 days were spent at the Drury Plaza Hotel - Disney Springs Area, we stayed there for 4 nights and the package included 3 day Disney tickets, this we booked through Jo Alcock - Wind Waves and Wands Vacations. The hotel was very modern, the room was spacious very clean and comfortable. On arrival the reception staff were very informative, they provided us with a lot of information about the hotel itself, our park tickets and the times of the park buses. They encouraged us to come back and ask any questions if we had any. The hotel provided breakfast and evening snacks, we had breakfast every morning, there was plenty to choose from and you could have as much as you wanted. We didn’t eat there in the evening. The buses to and from the parks ran every hour, they were always on time and the drivers were very friendly and welcoming. Before leaving the UK we had downloaded our park tickets to my phone, the hotel also provided credit card type tickets as well so it was good to have both methods just in case. The tickets on my phone worked perfectly and I used these the whole time we were there. Jo put together this package for us - 4 nights at the Drury Plaza and 3 day Disney tickets. Jo provided information and a quote beforehand to enable us to decide if this package was right for us. Once booked we received all the relevant information and Jo stressed that we could contact her anytime if we had any questions. Leading up to our departure Jo explained many aspects of how we could get the most out of our Disney experience i.e. how to use the park tickets, using the Disney app to book rides and experiences, which rides were LL / virtual queue etc, recommendations for the Disney restaurants and when we could book them in advance etc. She also provided details and options of getting from the airport to our hotel. All of this information was invaluable and really enabled us to make the most of our time in Disney. My favourite rides were Tron, Rise of the Resistance and Guardians of the Galaxy however we enjoyed all aspects of Disney. We would love to return in the future and would definitely book again through Jo - Wind Waves and Wands Vacations. Also many thanks to Jo who shared other Florida knowledge with us, we had a fantastic time and all of her suggestions of places to visit and places to stay were just perfect we enjoyed every moment. The food was hot and plentiful, with a great selection to choose from, and the drinks were delicious. Our flights were smooth, and we had zero issues with customs—Kelly had us well-prepared! We did hear mixed advice about the visitor tax, but we decided to pay it, and we’re glad we did because they were checking for receipts. The only downside? The windy weather most days made it a bit tricky to enjoy the ocean as much as we’d hoped, with lots of sand blowing around. But that’s just Mother Nature! My twin boys (age 17) and I had an amazing trip to Portugal in early July. We decided on Lisbon for three nights, Algarve for three nights and Azores for five nights. We researched the activities and excursions we were interested in and some hotels. We sent our findings to Heather and she went to work! She found us great hotels for all three places and contacted the outfitters to plan our excursions. She also organized and booked our six flights. We stayed at Lisbon Marriott Hotel the first three nights. The hotel was a bit outdated, but the pool and food was great. We were barely in the hotel anyways as we ventured on our first day to see Pink Street ~ very cool area of Lisbon, the second day a guided tour of Peña Palace ~ we highly recommend, third day guided E-Biking throughout Lisbon with Boost Portugal. This was so much fun and a fantastic way to see the city! In Algarve we stayed at the Tivoli Carvoeiro. This was a beautiful and modern hotel right on the ocean. The beach was not usable due to the high rocks but still beautiful views and the pool was amazing. The restaurants were great - but they will get you on buying water which was expensive, so make sure to go to the store 10 mins from the hotel to buy your water. The boys did two dives in Algarve and loved it. Our kayaking excursion was canceled but Heather quickly found another excursion - a boat tour through the caves and this was magnificent! In Azores we stayed at Pestana Bahia Praia. This hotel was very outdated and cleaning was below satisfactory. But it was in the best location for excursions, beautiful views of the ocean and the pool and food were both excellent. The boys did two more dives here and loved it! Again we had another excursion that was canceled, but Heather quickly found us a replacement tour - Sete Cidades via ATV and Jeep-like buggies. This was an incredible experience! Heather also did a great job arranging our pick up from the airport in Azores to our hotel and back, as there are no Ubers and limited taxis on the island. Every time there was a cancellation of an excursion Heather was prompt to notify me and suggest other options nearby. She was easily accessible throughout our trip and took the hard work off me, allowing me to have peace of mind. Upon completion of hotel and flight bookings and scheduled excursions, Heather created a beautiful and easy to use Itinerary Package for us to refer to throughout our travels. This definitely made it easier to keep track of dates, flights, times, etc.. We highly recommend using Heather as your travel agent ~ she is a master at organizing travel! Thank you Heather for organizing a once in a lifetime trip to Portugal for my boys and me!

Thank you so much for helping us plan our vacation! It truly was magical! This was our first family vacation out of country, on a plane, and there is no way we will top it (well, until we go back 😉). I don’t think I have ever seen my dad so happy. So many amazing moments I’m not even sure where to start… Simon was incredible! I would highly recommend him to everyone I know! He was on time, helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. We were so pleased! Wilderness Lodge was amazing! We couldn’t have picked a better hotel. There was a lot to do, rain or shine. We were in the Cooper Creek Villas and the room was perfect! The staff were all incredible. The customer service throughout our entire vacation was unreal. We all agree that our favourite park was the Magic Kingdom because it was truly magically! Just walking in felt like a dream. Taking the boat over was a nice treat. The kids favourite ride was slinky dog and the grown ups was avatar. We all agree that Everest was the scariest but we did it. 🤣 We loved eating at Hollywood and Vine and Tusker House was a close second. We had so much fun, we think we will have to go back, and probably stay a bit longer. We will definitely reach out when we decide.

This is a review of the excellent work that Carolynn did for me when booking our trip on the Disney Cruise Ship. She was so helpful because I have never been on a cruise before and we were taking our 4 grandchildren with us. She booked our staterooms on the ship and watched for an upgrade to a Deluxe State room for me also. Which she was able to get and she was able to book two larger staterooms for me. Carolynn also was on a cruise herself and still made time to answer any questions I had. Carolynn arranged the hotel for us when we arrived at Miami before the cruise and after as we didn’t fly out to go home until the next day. She arranged a driver to pick up at the airport when we arrived and drive us to the Hotel and also arranged for the driver to take us back to airport on the day we were flying home. At the hotel the day we left on the cruise there was also a person from the Disney cruise ship to arrange for our luggage to be sent to the ship and to our stateroom. I have never had such excellent service with a travel agent before and I would recommend your agency to anyone and especially Carolynn for all the hard work and excellent care that she gave to my family. She even had all information concerning the trip sent in an email for me to make sure I knew what was happening. There was even a little surprise for the children in the stateroom for them (which was so special for her to do that for us). If we book another trip in the future I will certainly book with Carolynn. You should be very proud to have such a dedicated person working for you. Thank You Again

Disney and vacation planning! Glorious words to think about after a hard two years with no travel. If you’ve ever gone to Disney before, you know that it takes a full time job of researching and planning to make those magical dreams come to fruition. The same thing can be said for Disney Cruises. While I consider myself pretty familiar with Disney parks and cruises (having been before a number of times), I knew that I needed expert advice. We were debating between the parks or a cruise. Both with pros and cons for each adventure. While there are tons of pros, I was worried about the summer heat in Florida and equally worried about Covid on a ship, especially when traveling with a 9 and 10 year old. I reached out to a friend who highly recommended Denise Stahl. After A LOT of back and forth discussion and quotes, we decided on a 7 Night Disney Cruise to Alaska. To say it was an amazing adventure would be an understatement! It’s been our best vacation to date. Denise planned every step for us, whether it was hotels in Vancouver before and after our cruise, or giving insight into cabin choices, excursions and a variety of options on the cruise, she was there for us. I didn’t need to worry or stress. Denise even went so far as to drop off a gift bag filled with goodies/gifts before our trip. The onboard credit from her was also an incredible perk! Once home, I let Denise know of an issue while at one of the hotels and she followed up with them until it was resolved to our satisfaction. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Denise and Wind Waves and Wands Vacations . In fact, we are already using them for our upcoming Hawaii vacation happening next year.

We just got back from our Disney trip we stayed at Pop Century from September 24th to October 2nd, 2022. Denise Stahl planned our entire trip and she was amazing. She made sure that we had all our tickets and park reservations done up for us. She even offered to get our character dining done for us however we opted out of those. She told me exactly what rides would be good for my little one who isn’t so little but is unsure of heights she made this trip so memorable for her and that made my heart smile. We had hurricane Ian show up and we were forced to stay at our resort for 2 days as the parks were closed and Denise made sure to check in on us. She told me exactly what to do to keep my daughter calm and made us feel at ease and made sure to get a refund for the days we lost. Pop century kept us entertained by having the incredibles come by and played games with the kids and made the Hurricane less stressful. Denise told me where I could meet all characters we needed to see. We got the genie plus option and she told me how to use and it was a breeze to get on all the most popular rides without having to stay in the long lines. We got the memory maker and it is sooo worth the cost. This was one of the most amazing trips because I got to do everything I wanted to with the help and knowledge Denise has I couldn’t have done this without her. Huge thank you to her and honestly if you want to book any amazing trip ask Denise to assist. We also did Universal and wow I loved the experience of the Harry Potter section again all Denise suggestions were spot on. The Hello Kitty store was a big hit for my daughter. The fast pass here was easier to use but there were a lot of delays with rides going down but they were up later on. The butter beer was amazing and I loved the train ride between the parks.
