Hello and welcome! I’m Denise, the heart behind Wind Waves and Wands Vacations — and my journey as a travel advisor began the same way as many of my guests… as a wide-eyed Disney fan!

Before entering the world of travel, I spent many years as a licensed social worker, specializing in supporting children with special needs. My career as a child protection worker was deeply meaningful, yet also incredibly demanding. To balance the stress, I sought joy and magic — and found it through Disney Cruise Line and the unforgettable world of Walt Disney World.

What started as a family escape soon became a lifelong passion. To date, I’ve sailed on 41 Disney Cruises across every ship in the fleet, and have adventured with my family to Disneyland Paris, Disneyland Resort in California, Europe, Alaska, the Panama Canal, and Hawaii — all through Disney. The magic clearly rubbed off… my now-grown children are exploring the world through Disney, too!

Becoming a travel advisor specializing in Disney vacations allows me to fulfill the same calling that drew me to social work: making children happy. The difference is, now I get to bring joy without the politics, the heartache, or the heavy stress. Every itinerary, every personalized surprise, and every carefully planned detail is designed with your family’s smiles in mind. I can already picture the wonder in your children’s eyes as they step onto Main Street U.S.A. or hear that first “Welcome aboard!” on a Disney Cruise.
