Most Walt Disney World vacations and Disney Cruise Line bookings are priced and paid in U.S. dollars. At Wind Waves and Wands Vacations, we do not offer Canadian-dollar payments for these bookings, but you can generally use your Canadian credit card to pay in U.S. dollars. Your credit card provider will convert the charge into Canadian dollars based on its exchange rate, and foreign currency transaction fees may apply.

And here's something our guests love: we offer monthly payment plans! You don't have to pay for your entire Disney vacation all at once. After your initial deposit, we can help you arrange monthly payments leading up to your final payment deadline, subject to the applicable booking terms.

Our advisors will help you understand deposit requirements, payment deadlines and available Canadian-resident offers, so you can budget with confidence. We understand that a Disney vacation is often something families save and dream about for a long time. Our goal is to make planning and paying for those favourite memories as easy and stress-free as possible.

It's true! From time to time, Disney releases exclusive offers for Canadians that may include discounted theme park tickets, resort stays or vacation packages. These promotions can be a wonderful way to make your Disney vacation a little more affordable!

But here's something important to know: not every promotion is the best fit for every family. Canadian-resident offers may have specific travel dates, booking windows, eligibility requirements and restrictions. Some may require proof of Canadian residency, and discounts may not be combined with other promotions.

That's where your Wind Waves and Wands Vacations advisor comes in! We help you make sense of the offers and find the best value for your family. Our advisors can review available promotions, explain the terms and help you compare options based on your vacation plans.

And if a new promotion becomes available after you've booked, we're happy to check whether it may be applied to your existing reservation, subject to Disney's terms and availability. Because saving a little on your vacation can mean having a little more to spend on those magical moments and favourite memories!

Whether you're planning a Disney Cruise, Walt Disney World or Disneyland vacation, we generally recommend starting 6 to 12 months in advance, and even earlier if you're travelling during school holidays, March Break, Christmas or other popular times of the year.

Why so early? Planning ahead gives you more time to explore your options, choose the accommodations or cruise stateroom that best suit your family, and spread out your vacation payments.

And here's something many families don't realize: booking early doesn't necessarily mean you're locked into your plans! Disney offers cancellation and modification policies that can provide valuable flexibility, depending on the type of vacation you've booked. For example, many eligible Disney Cruise Line reservations allow you to cancel and receive a refund of your deposit before the applicable cancellation penalty period begins. Walt Disney World and Disneyland vacation packages also have cancellation policies that may allow changes or refunds within specified timeframes.

Of course, every booking has its own terms, and some promotional fares, concierge accommodations, special experiences and other travel arrangements may have stricter conditions. We'll explain the cancellation terms before you book, help you understand important deadlines and keep an eye out for new promotions that might offer additional savings on your vacation.
