A bit about me
How I plan my trips
Sometimes, travel offers us a break from the routine--a chance to relax while we take in the sights and sounds of a new location. Sometimes, travel brings thrilling new experiences. Sometimes, travel offers amazing opportunities for learning and for growth--learning about history, cultures, food, languages, and different ways of living life.
I have been very fortunate in the opportunities I've had to travel and to enjoy so many aspects of the experience: from car camping to trans-continental flights; from beach loungers by the sea to hiking in the mountains; from community festivals to African markets. I have gained so much enjoyment from planning vacations for myself and my family, and it's been such a delight to have those enriching experiences with my loved ones.
I am known for providing knowledgeable, thorough, and caring customer service to my clients. Whether you are looking for a bucket-list adventure, a beautiful cruise, a relaxing holiday in the sun, a Disney getaway, or something else entirely, I look forward to the opportunity to plan the perfect vacation for you.

My twin boys (age 17) and I had an amazing trip to Portugal in early July. We decided on Lisbon for three nights, Algarve for three nights and Azores for five nights. We researched the activities and excursions we were interested in and some hotels. We sent our findings to Heather and she went to work! She found us great hotels for all three places and contacted the outfitters to plan our excursions. She also organized and booked our six flights. We stayed at Lisbon Marriott Hotel the first three nights. The hotel was a bit outdated, but the pool and food was great. We were barely in the hotel anyways as we ventured on our first day to see Pink Street ~ very cool area of Lisbon, the second day a guided tour of Peña Palace ~ we highly recommend, third day guided E-Biking throughout Lisbon with Boost Portugal. This was so much fun and a fantastic way to see the city! In Algarve we stayed at the Tivoli Carvoeiro. This was a beautiful and modern hotel right on the ocean. The beach was not usable due to the high rocks but still beautiful views and the pool was amazing. The restaurants were great - but they will get you on buying water which was expensive, so make sure to go to the store 10 mins from the hotel to buy your water. The boys did two dives in Algarve and loved it. Our kayaking excursion was canceled but Heather quickly found another excursion - a boat tour through the caves and this was magnificent! In Azores we stayed at Pestana Bahia Praia. This hotel was very outdated and cleaning was below satisfactory. But it was in the best location for excursions, beautiful views of the ocean and the pool and food were both excellent. The boys did two more dives here and loved it! Again we had another excursion that was canceled, but Heather quickly found us a replacement tour - Sete Cidades via ATV and Jeep-like buggies. This was an incredible experience! Heather also did a great job arranging our pick up from the airport in Azores to our hotel and back, as there are no Ubers and limited taxis on the island. Every time there was a cancellation of an excursion Heather was prompt to notify me and suggest other options nearby. She was easily accessible throughout our trip and took the hard work off me, allowing me to have peace of mind. Upon completion of hotel and flight bookings and scheduled excursions, Heather created a beautiful and easy to use Itinerary Package for us to refer to throughout our travels. This definitely made it easier to keep track of dates, flights, times, etc.. We highly recommend using Heather as your travel agent ~ she is a master at organizing travel! Thank you Heather for organizing a once in a lifetime trip to Portugal for my boys and me!
