Disneyland California

As someone who always dreamed of visiting Disneyland California, my first trip was nothing short of magical. I had learned all about the park's immersive experiences and was excited to finally see them for myself.

Our first stop was the iconic Haunted Mansion, which was in full holiday overlay mode.Being a Nightmare Before Christmas fan, I was in complete awe of how the attraction had transformed. I honestly didn’t think the day could get better but I was soon proven wrong.

From there I wandered into the world of Toon Town. The colourful and whimsical atmosphere pulled me in, and I felt like I was transported into an animated film. Next up I raced through the mountains on a thrilling bobsled ride, dodging the infamous Yeti!

Making my way over to Disney California Adventure eager to see how it would compare. The holiday spirit was still in full effect and I indulged at the Holiday of the Festival sampling some delicious seasonal dishes.

The entertainment didn’t disappoint either. I had a chance to dance with the three caballeros, and train to become warrior allies of Wakanda. One of the highlights of the day was hearing a holiday story from Deadpool (His humour added a fun twist to a classic holiday tale)

From start to finish, my first visit to Disneyland and Disney California Adventure exceeded all expectations. Between immersive rides, delicious dishes, and unforgettable characters it will be an experience I’ll cherish forever. If you have ever wondered what the west coast magic is all about I can say it’s definitely worth the trip.
