Hi, I’m Kayla, a community nurse, proud mom of two, loving wife, and lifelong travel enthusiast.

Travel has been part of my story for as long as I can remember. Growing up, some of my favourite memories were piling into the car for family road trips, exploring our own backyard, flying somewhere new, or driving across the country. Those experiences shaped my love for discovering new places and creating meaningful memories along the way.

Now as a mom my travel goals have shifted in the best way. My husband and I spend our free time planning family friendly adventures, building bucket lists with our kids, and finding destinations that spark excitement for everyone. I understand firsthand what it takes to balance fun, logistics, budgets, and those little details that make a family trip smooth and memorable.

In 2023, I had the incredible opportunity to participate in a medical mission trip to Guatemala, an experience that deepened my appreciation for culture, connection, and the impact travel can have on our perspective.

One of my passions outside of nursing and travel is photography. I love capturing the moments of laughter, the candid smiles and the sunsets because those are the memories that last a lifetime. Travel and photography go hand in hand for me as every destination tells a story, and I believe the best trips are the ones you can relive through the moments captured along the way.

Fun fact: When I was 11 years old, I performed at Universal Studios, so you could say theme parks and magical experiences have always had a special place in my heart!
