Hi, I’m Jennifer Marshall! I grew up in Newfoundland, spending every Sunday evening watching Disney movies with my dad and sister. From the time I was little, I dreamed of one day going to Disney World—it was always my “Dream Vacation.” In fact, when people asked me what I’d do if I won the lottery, my answer was simple: pay off my bills and head straight to Disney! My childhood favorites included The Little Mermaid, Winnie the Pooh, Finding Nemo, and Monsters, Inc., but I’ll always have a soft spot for Beauty and the Beast thanks to my sister’s obsession as a young girl.

Life took many turns before I finally experienced the magic of Disney for myself. A few years ago I faced a serious health challenge with cervical herniated discs, which temporarily limited the use of my left arm and neck and required spine surgery. During recovery, I decided there was no better time to make my lifelong dream a reality, so I booked my first Disney World trip with my husband and son. Having a Disney trip to look forward to was a wonderful boost to my healing journey—it gave me extra motivation to regain my strength and recover.

Leading up to our trip (and everyday since), I immersed myself in all things Disney: watching every classic and modern film in chronological order, bingeing Disney+ documentaries, following YouTube channels, listening to podcasts, reading blogs, and studying park maps. I spent countless hours studying to make sure that I knew everything I could about Disney world so my trip would be absolutely perfect. Every bit of research helped me plan a precisely organized itinerary. We even took advantage of the free dining plan offer, and I made it my mission to get the absolute most out of it! The result? We checked off every must-do on our list and had the best time ever, sealing our fate as true Disney World fanatics. Now my husband and son are just as hooked as I am—they can’t wait to go back and discover even more magic!

When I’m not diving into Disney planning, I work as a Student Services Specialist in Nova Scotia. My experience supporting students with diverse needs has honed my adaptability, attention to detail, and ability to tailor plans to individuals—all invaluable qualities for organizing seamless, stress-free vacations.
